I appreciate your time and effort.I was going to let you know about Stephen Read of Huntley but I see that you have worked that out.Stephen Read was buried in 1844 at St Marys, Newent.There is a headstone for him.I thought Esther might have showed up there.I was told Stephen was possibly one of the last burials at St Marys, so I will try confirm this to rule out Esther being there.
Am I right in believing that the Tainton and Newent burial records are complete for 1871?

Glass House Hill residents are certainly buried at Tainton i.e. Richard Davis in 1872

I wonder if there is a family plot in another graveyard, so death registered Newent but burial in Newent , Huntley ??

My 4th Great Grandmother Esther Read lived to the age of 94.I have her Death Certificate which states she died on the 8th May 1871 at Glass House Green, Taynton.The Registration District is Newent, Sub District Newent, in the Counties of Gloucester and Hereford.
I have checked the Parish Records of this great site.The year 1871 seems to have been done for both Newent and Taynton but I can't find Esther's Burial record.
Could someone with a spare few minutes please confirm that I am not missing something ?
