Thanks for reply with marriage and birth information on my grand parents. Did my grandfather work as a butcher or grocer with shop(s) in Commercial Road and family home in East Dean. Any details when Desima (Dessie) died and where my father (Astley Edward) lived as child would be interesting.

I'm trying to find facts and information about my grandfather, Charles Edward Martin (born 1877 died 1929) and grandmother (Embling?). Also, where the family lived in Cinderford and worked would be great.

My father's name was Astley Edward (born 1910 died 1965) and was one of four children (Charles, Kenneth, Astley and Daisy).
