TKS AGAIN SLOWHANDS. I REALISE THAT BAPTISM BY TOTAL IMMERSION MAY RESULT IN A DELAY OF YEARS IN REPORTING.

1. CAN WE EASILY FIND OUT WHETHER OR NOT THERE ARE EXISTING BAPTISMAL RECORDS FOR THIS CHURCH IN THE PERIOD OF MY INTEREST, 1871 TO 1881, OR ANY PART OF THIS PERIOD, OR DO YOU FEEL IT LIKELY THAT WHATEVER RECORDS THERE WERE ARE NOW LOST, FOR WHATEVER REASON.

2.I SHOULD BE DOING MY OWN LEG-WORK. ARE YOU AWARE OF ANY ADDRESS TO WHICH I COULD SEND AN ENQUIRY THAT MIGHT TURN UP THE BAPTISMS THAT INTEREST ME.

only if the Baptisms were performed on infants - in some chapels the Baptism was not performed until it was believed that the individual understood the ceremony and its significance, so you might be looking for a baptism 10 - 12 - 20 years later....

I'm not sure if/where the baptism records for this chapel are.

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP SLOWHANDS. I BELIEVE MY RELATIVES LIVED IN COMMERCIAL STREET AND I BELIEVE THEY WERE OF THE BAPTIST FAITH WHEN LIVING IN CINDERFORD. HENCE, I AM PICKING THAT THERE SHOULD BE BAPTISMAL RECORDS FOR BAPTISMS IN 02/1875 AND 11/1877 OR SHORTLY THEREAFTER.

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME IF ANY RESEARCH OF THE BAPTISMAL RECORDS HAS BEEN DONE OR IS POSSIBLE FOR BAPTISMS IN THE YEARS 1871 TO 1881 INCLUSIVE?

I see a photo of the above in the latest dispatch of findings. I
would greatly appreciate if somebody could tell me the age of this
building.
