World War 1 Records

Has everyone heard that from today you can download your ancestor's RAF record from WW1 on the National Archives.

I had a newsletter from the National Archives yesterday and was able to find my father's record. He was in the Army and RAF and I had never been able to find an Army record as he did not serve abroad. However, this record also gives his Army record. There was a whoop of joy when it came up first go! It costs £3.50 to download.
