I think you have two different Philip John's here.

There is this one who married Betty Godin (Godwin?).

Then there is Philip & Hannah who had Moriah in 1812.

Philip couldn't have married both of them because the first marriage was c June 1811, and the child of Phil & Hannah was christened Jan 6th 1812.

I made error - moriah was born 1812!!!!!!!!!What I want to know is Hannah Johns maiden name-as she was widow when she married in 1820 Is Phillip John the husband of both Betty Godwin and Hannah?

phillip John married a betty Godwin in 1811 - in 1820 a child Moriah was born to Phillip and Hannah John and in 1820 Hannah John widow married a Whittingham/ton - no death for Philip appearing on FOD - any info appreciated
