Is Westbury online as it seems to coming up here with no matching records?

Westbury on Severn as well as being a Parish was also a Registration District. There were many parishes within this Registration District. Other Registration Districts which covered parishes within the Forest of Dean were Chepstow, Monmouth and Ross.

Many thanks for the info, very much appreicated.I think that I have found Samuel in Yorkshire married to a Welsh girl in the 1881 census, Samuel is down as 39, wife's name is Gwendoline, with 3 children.

Julie or Juliana seems to be a brick wall also, I traced son William A who is mentioned on the 1871 census with Sophia and family, William married after Sophia died in the 1900's and his widow is boarding with a Julia Parry in the 1911 census, which I think is our Julia,however between 1871 till 1911 Julia seems to go missing?

I also am at aloss about William 1817 and his father down as Thomas, you found a John born 1817, wonder if they renamed him to William, or was William his second name?

James Taylor born about 1856 at Cinderford, Westbury, cant find a christening date, he married at the resigtry office in Gloucestershire in 1877.

Thomas born 1854 married 1875 at Westbury on Severn, Can't find the entry on the PR's

I have looked for Esther and Sarah in the 1861 census, Esther would have been 13yrs and Sarah about 17yrs. looked on deaths as well, etc. Samuel remains untill the 1861, then also goes missing,

Looking for parents of William,

William born 1817 of Linton, married Sophia ???????????? date ??????????
from 1851 census they are at Cinderford.
Child 1 born Samuel Taylor 1841 at Linton.

according to the pr's william parents are Joseph and Sarah, but there is a William and Sophia( Jones maiden name ) marriage at Ross in 1841, now 1861 census says that Sophia was born at walford, there is a marriage at Walford of William and Sophia, William's father is down as Thomas

Everywhere I look there is a different turn, nothing matches etc.
Does anyone have any ideas please
