I'm 68 and it's great to finally know I have some ancestry.

I'm "sure" that you can go back to Neptune from the Stratton area in Wiltshire, who appears to be Elijah's father, i.e. your Great Grandfather

I've never looked into this type of information before, so would you be able to briefly tell me how I can go further back than my grandfather Elijah Smith? Once again many thanks. Hi All,
My name is Frederick, Thomas Neptune Smith and I'm trying to find out about my father. Due to circumstances I was parted from him when I was 3 years old and I was in my 20's before I found out he was a Romany from the Forest of Dean. I've noticed the name Neptune Smith in previous correspondence and would love to find out more about his/my family. Can anyone help.
