I have interest in these Rees/Reece families from Bantam/Bantwm.
I have
Elisha REES age 22 m. Mary Ann PRITCHARD 20 May 1860 at Penterry.
He aged 22, she aged 20. However, Elisha's parents are Thomas and Ann.

1841 gives
Ann Reece 40
Temperance Reece 15
Elisha Reece 4

Thanks for that, after checking the geography it seems these areas do fall under monmouthshire, sorry about that.

I'm not sure whether this area is covered by the FOD area.

This family is on Ancestry Public Members Tree - in quite a lot of detail.

For example

Elisha REECE - married Mary Ann PRITCHARD - born 1840 - Michel Troy - with the census info etc. etc.

1841 census, Michael Troy

Joseph PRITCHARD - 40
Ann - 40
Elizabeth - 8
William - 5
Mary Ann 1

Elisha REECE - married Mary Ann PRITCHARD - Chepstow 1860

Hi all I am trying to find more info on the reece family from penterry, they lived in Bamton (Rd, st area) my gx3 grandfather was elisha reece b1837c who married mary ann? born from mitcheltroy, I cannot find any details on his birth or marriage dates etc. I have the same problem with elisha's father, all I have is his name is John Reece b1822c and married temperance. They lived in bamton on the 1841 census.

Any information or docs relating to the family would be wonderful.
