So perhaps the original is missing in Glos Archives.

Hello,

I have the death certificate for my ggg Grandmother Ann Beard who died in Lydney. The cert advises "certificate received from Mr F Carter for Forest Division County of Gloucester Inquest held sixteenth March 1888". Cause of death was apoplexy. I've searched the inquests in the parish records section but can find no trace.

Is this something that I should find here, is it part of a set awaiting transcription or perhaps it's not something that would have been set out in these records and I'm misunderstanding something. The latter point is the most likely!!! Nonetheless, thanks for any help.
