I had problems not receiving my activation email when I joined the site, however I found that the activation email was in my 'bulk' email folder.

I have tried to join the site, have given my details, but for some reason I fail

to register, everything goes through alright, but I am told to wait a day before
it comes active, but it never does.

What it actually says is that the account has to be activated within one day.

Your account will not automatically be activated, you must do this your self by
clicking on the link which is sent to you in an e-mail.

Our registration program creates the e-mail immediately and it should get to you
quickly. It appears that you may not have received this e-mail. There are a
number of reasons why you may not have received the email.

Be careful with your spam filters both on your computer and those of your ISP,
since you must be able to receive e-mail from "forest-of-dean.net".

Have a read of the Help page which there is a link to at the top of all the
Message Board pages as this explains the situation in detail.

If after you have thoroughly read the FAQ on the Help page, done all that is
suggested and you still have not resolved the problem, please contact me direct.
