I think this is a rare transcription error in this FoD site, I think it should read "Vivian" not "Brian". Please request a check of the original record via the "Help-faq" screen, ie
http://www.forest-of-dean.net/index.php/help-faq/database-correction-request-form

I say this after searching both FreeBMD & GlosBMD for all B&Ds of surname "Howells" between abt 1905-1910, those sites quickly give lists of easily-browsed records. I repeated this also trying common spelling variations such as "Howls", as I had already done within this FoD website(tick soundex box).

I found the following Records which I think is the subject of the PR;

How does this seem to you ?

There is a burial in the parish records for Brain Albert Howells , nov 1907, age 1 yr 10 months.
I can't see a baptism for him, so decided to look for birth reg but can't see that either.. looked under Howell and Howells, even tried Ward, mother's maiden name.

Can anyone else see the birth reg... would like to check who this child belonged to.
