Eliza married William Boughton at Minsterworth in 1841 and migrated to Australia shortly after her marriage. William worked for Joseph Broadbent Holmes who established one of the first wineries at Black Creek (now known as Rothbury) in the Hunter Valley NSW. Eliza's death c. 1850 remains a mystery ..no death record or listed burial site? My great grandmother was Hannah Boughton.
