The entry in GFHS Marriage Index states that the marriage was by Licence and that Martha was from Harescombe.
Suggest you get copy of the marriage allegation from Gloucester Record Office as this may provide name of father.

Can anyone help with this Powell:
Martha Powell married Joseph Edwards in 1802 at Haresfield. Joseph was born at Newent and is part of a large Forrest family but Martha is a mystery. She was born between 1776 and 1777 loc unknown. Does she feature in anyone's research?
