edwin charles baldwin born 1837
died 1893 ross gloucestershire. After his death the family moved to Pontypridd.I dont know when Richard died. Joseph was born 16 May 1780 in Ruardean I think

Yes, I would agree with slowhands' reply. I am sure that Richard was baptised 10th April 1817 in Linton.

I have spent a long time looking at all the possible Richards in both Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean and this Richard is the only one that it could be. His parents were Joseph and Mary Ennis who were married in Linton on 27th Oct 1805. I am not sure where Joseph came from. Do you have any idea?

slowhands mentions an entry for the 1841 census for an Edwin Baldwin born about 1837. Again I have looked at all the possible Edwin or Edwin Charles or just Charles Baldwins in the 1841 of about that age and this is the best bet so far.

I have not found Richard Baldwin's death. He is not given as deceased on either of the marriage certificates of Edwin. Any ideas?

Is this son Edwin in 1841 ? Was Richard dead as well by 1841 ?

Would anyone know who the father + mother of Richard Baldwin is? He was married to Catherine Ingles. They were married 23 Nov 1836 at Aston Ingham parish church.
