I've just had another look at Ancestry - and there is another Public Members' Tree - Stevenson - who have this DOEL family, but are back to William DOEL - 1545, Westbury, Wilts. (in total 155 DOEL's in this particular tree)

This Stevenson tree, has Thomas DOEL's wife 1871 census, Flaxley born Stonehouse as Mary LUCAS
