My name is John Campbell Thurston David Lazarus Watts was my great great great ? Grandfather. I have found a limited number of the green watts of Lydney books. if anyone is interested in research then please contact me. I live in Lydney and I am looking at bringing it up to date. Anyone interested? I believe we are one of the oldest surviving companies in the Forest? Many will know my Uncle Melville Watts. I shall be away for most of January 2026.

My wife is a direct descendant of William Stephens and Sarah Pearce (of Clearwell) via their son Matthew who immigrated to Australia.
