The same Frank Huins is listed on the war memorial at Eversham Street, Astwood Bank, Worcester. Unless he changed his surname on entry, there appears to be no reference to his birth or, if appropriate, a marriage.
Could it be that he was engaged to a girl from Awre, or even that he lodged there in the days leading up to the First World War?
