For every site I use that requires passwords, it offers me the choice for it to automatically remember them. Hence as soon as I open this site on my pc it automatically logs me in by my username, abd displays the threads accordingly.
Can't you tweak your computer browser's settings to remember your password ?.

I guess it varies depending on what browser system you're using to access the internet (eg many laptops don't use I.E. but use systems like Chrome, Firefox, etc - abt which I know nowt).

If you leave the site and there is no activity you will be logged off after a short time. The length of time varies according to the activity as a whole on the server and we have no control over the time allowed for inactivity.
