The other thing that is a bit strange about Thomas Horlick on the ancestry site is that it refers to him as the stepson of Frances Lovegrove, but I am confused as I thought she was his mother. Has anyone seen his birth details please.? Maybe the ancestry site is glitchy

Hi, I'm on the track of my relative Thomas Horlick born cranham 1806 and died Kingston, Surrey, 1890. I can't find him in any censuses until his death occurs. His wife was Harriet / Harriot Hulbert/ Holbert. She married again to John Preston. Wonder how she managed to do that, thought divorce was too expensive in those days.
