I joined this site this week and so I'm currently very unfamiliar with it

(Why did FindMyPast trash such a good search tool???)

It appears to offer the opportunity to contact other members via e-mail by clicking on their user names. However, all that I get is a dull thud sound.... No new window opens up

My membership is currently free, coming with the purchase of a new version of Family Tree Maker. Is it likely that this free membership is preventing me contacting others????
