If it had not been for Slowhands' help we would not have such a full picture of my Meek family connections with the FoD and been in contact with so many people including unknown relatives who have been very helpful.

Thanks to everyone who have contributed to the success of this Message Board.

There is a treasure of information contained within these threads about people and
places in the Forest and we could just about write our own History book from
them.

We have many people who answer queries which are submitted. Though, I am sure
all of you who frequent this board regularly will agree that there is one person
who stands out who we should send a special thank you to. We all know this
person by the name of Slowhands, what his real name is we do not know!

Slowhands, a big Thank You for the vast contribution you have given in helping
hundreds of people with their research through this forum.
