Commemorative Trees

For the purposes of presenting a Eulogy for a close relative. Can anyone
remember the planting of Trees on the site of the Norchard Colliery to
Commemorate the Coronation of one of our Monarchs in the last Century.
I believe that my relative may have been involved with such planting so
would appreciate any information. I suspect that the Monarch in question
will have been King George VI but stand to be corrected. Thankyou.
