I live in Brisbane, Australia and am interested in the DANIEL/s family who lived in the Whitchurch area (Goodrich, Doward).

I have printed off the records already existing on this site for the Daniel family - I think there were twelve of them listed.

My gg-grandfather Edward (b.1806), along with his brother Henry (b.1819), both their wives and a total of 12 children emigrated to Australia in 1856. They were also accompanied on their voyage by a nephew, Thomas Daniel.

My ggg-grandparents were Thomas Daniel and Elizabeth Morgan.

I would be grateful for any information you could give.

Two other members of the Daniel family THOMAS and WILLIAM were transported as convicts in 1837 and 1842 respectively. I have often wondered what would have happened to Thomas Daniel's wife Elizabeth and children after he was transported but I guess I'll never know.
