The 'oldest' piece of information that we have is the marriage certificate of Thomas Workman and Betsy Williams in which Thomas's father is given as 'Swanton Workman - occupation - Engine Pipe maker'. Regret this is the only information that we have on the Workman family but would obviously like to find out more.
