He married Eliza (Beland) 1887 in Woolwich.
He was the son of Thomas Price (born 1835)and Ann Price (born 1840)West Dean.
John's brothers and sisters were:
Thomas Price (born 1861)
William Price (born 1865)
Charlott Price (born 1869)
Eliza Price (born 1871)
Elizabeth Price (born 1874)
George Price (born 1880). All were born in West Dean.
