Further to the conversation re Philip James m Mary Wanklyn -

I am a gggg' granddaughter of Philip James and Mary Wanklyn.
They had a son Joseph James m Lydia Gorle
Then John James m Caroline Evans - five chn
Sarah ann James m Edgar Augustus Morgan- seven children
Herbert Reginald Morgan m Dorothy Phyllis Smith - two children
Edna Joyce Morgan m Harold Robinson - five children
Dorothy Phyllis Robinson (me) m william Leonard Pearson - Aaron and five other chn
Aaron Leonard Pearson n tofa soifua Tepou
Dominic Pearson - six other chn plus there are 22 altogether and one great grandchild

I live in New Zealand, but grew up in Newport, I'm a Maindee kid!

I noticed on one marriage it was conducted by the Rev Jones he was married to one of my Baker cousins, Nancy I think(from memory)
