William Aldridge was my great great grandfather I believe, as although he was not named on the birth of my great grandfather Henry Harris, he was named as the groom's father when Henry Harris got married in 1869. I don't believe that William ever married Ann Harris, Henry's mother.

According to various census records, William Aldridge was born in Mitcham, Surrey or perhaps Epsom. I cannot work out why if he was born in Mitcham he would come back to live in Aylburton with Henry for most of his life. I suspect William was related to the Frampton on Severn Aldridges but I don't know if I can prove that was the case. All help is very much appreciated.
