The first marriage is to Elizabeth Dicks, 7 Feb 1773 in Mitcheldean. The second is to Elizabeth Cowell, 31 Jan 1774.

My question is, did the same John Pearce marry both? Or were there 2 John Pearces born around 1750, and if so, did both come from Mitcheldean.
Also Wm Meek appears as a witness to both marriages, was he a church official?
