This was my second visit to the area (the first being in 2014) and having learned so much more about my ancestors in the intervening years I was keen to return and explore once again.

Earlier this year I started my own website: the prize for entering a competition in a family history magazine last year. During and after my visit this summer I wrote and published three articles about my ancestors from the Forest; the links are below.
