May was a member of the team that took on the management of this site following the death of David Watkins in 2012. May has worked tirelessly in the background looking after the finances and with her husband John whose death we reported last November played a major part in the filming of documents in readiness for transcription. May was also a member of Gloucestershire Family History Society and took an active part in the Forest of Dean branch. She will be greatly missed.
