Looking at the 1841 census at Bakewell, Luke, age 20 - father Thomas aged 45, was a Shoe Maker

and from FreeReg: Joseph (shoemaker) & Sarah BRADBURY had a couple of children baptised in Bakewell around the same time.

Luke Bradbury was born in Bakewell, Derbyshire I believe. He moved to Canada and settled in Ontario, Canada in the early 1800s, posibly between 1800 and 1820s He was a farmer here, but I don't know what his occupation was in England. He had a number of children two of whom I know to be Thomas and John Roland.
