My main interest is the Marfell family, but have connections via their offspring with most F o D families. I have 9 children for Thomas Baldwin & Sarah & have connections further down the line with most of them :
Thomas 1767, James 1768 married Betty, Moses 1777 married Lucy Marfell,
Joseph 1780 married Sarah Smart, Lydia 1780 married James Roberts, Ephraim married Sarah, Sophia 1789. I did not know of the marriage between Lucy 1771 & Thomas Parsons.

I cannot enter into this posting all of the information I have concerning Thomas Baldwin & Sarah. A descendancy report in my Family Tree from Thomas Baldwin & Sarah, runs to 15 tightly packed pages of A4. I've just got back to the marriage of Thomas BALDWIN and Sarah WALDING in 1767. I am descended via Thomas amd Sarah's daughter, Lucy, who married Thomas PARSONS in 1793.

Are you able to let me have any more information about Thomas and Sarah?

The marriage between Richard Baldwin & Sarah Herbert is shown under the name Baldwyn. There are a number of spellings used for this name as is common with all surnames in this era. The interesting thing is that another marriage that took place in 1767 under the name Baldwyn was for a Thomas Baldwyn to Sarah Waldin. You will see this marriage in the Family Tree I sent you where Thomas is shown to be the son of James Baldwin & Betty Brain. The witness to this marriage you will note is James Brain. I have been unable to find either Richard born abt 1744 or Thomas born about 1744, but wonder if they are brothers.

On the Marriage of RICHARD BALDWIN and Sarah HERBERT IN 1770
does the parish records state what parish they belong.
when Ilooked for Richard's marriage at RUARDEAN nothing there
but it's there under Herbert which surjests to me that Richard
comes from another parish and would also confirm that Richard 1744
was the person who married Sarah and not Richard 1731 who was of the parish.
