thanks May for the picture, I know exactly which building it is now, In fact I remember admiring the position and grandeur of the building, but being so far away I hadn't realised this was the Chapel

You can just about make out Boxbush Rd running left towards upper right from St Johns Church
down to the Independent Chapel

It has a difficult location to describe as its on the road junction at the top of St.John's Street. The Postal address might be Bank Street, Sparrow Hill or even Staunton Road. If you look straight down Boxbush Road from the St Johns Church the Independent Chapel is facing you on the far side of the junction. I have emailed you a picture.

I have entries from the minutes and Record book and wondered where the church it self was?
