Thanks Slowhands, they're interesting leads and sure in someway related, but there are inconsistancies with Sarah and her age in the various threads. The 1841 Littledean bit looks correct but the sibling potentials (whilst some could be), dont all stack up as Sarah wouldnt be of child bearing age for some candidates.

Thank anyway and if someone could narrow the search down further, I'd be most grateful.

Thank you ever so much, this information is very helpful. I had in fact come across some of these names before on Ancestry, but didnt take the leap of faith and lay claim to them as ancestors. so to speak. Useful to know I was on the right track, but actually you have provided so much more than I had, .........again many thanks.

Can anyone help; I'm searching for Isaac Meredith c.1823 in Littledean who had a son Robert (born in Cinderford 1852), I think he also had two daughters, Sarah Ann and Mary Jane. I'm a decendant of Isaac who was my gt.gt.gt Grandad.

I cant seem to find much information about these people and particularly interested in Isaac's daughters and what happended to them (marriage etc).

I would also like to know who Isaac's siblings and parent were?

I'd just like a steer in the right direction please....can anyone help.
