<title>Chepstow's Unique War Memorial (reply)</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>U9 launched 22Feb1910. Broken up 1919 (Newport?). I've found 4 pics. on <a href="http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/u-boats.htm.">www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/u-boats.htm.</a> None of them mount the long modern looking gun. I presume the gun was fitted later in WWI. Don't know where the UB suffix comes from although no doubt means Untersee Boot. I thought that both in WWI and WWII they were U and number.</p>
