Do the parish registers start in 1556 (General)
Many thanks for the parish registers of Much Marcle. I have a question. Do the parish registers start in 1556 or are there earlier records yet to be transcribed. I tried to look up the dates of the parish registers at the LDS site, but they don't seem to know anything about the 1500s.
