Brilliant thanks very much indeed and there was I thinking I was the only one up and about at this time of day! I've also got some questions to ask, at a later date, about a great grandfather who was a Pc when Littledean Jail doubled up as a police station - Henry T Eagles (1849-1911). I know that he became the first police officer to live in the police house at Woolaston and that he was married to Fanny Pouch (1852 - ?) and whose line is a mystery.
