I saw your query about William Hook and wonder if you have any idea about this:

on the 1861 Census showing William and his family living at Pleasant Hill, Taynton, there shows also a Henry Palor, Boarder, aged 1 year.

Would you have any idea as to why he is included. I believe he could be my (illegitimate) great great grandfather, who I know was born in Newent in 1860.
