The 1841 Census gives a Thomas Edwards and family living at Lea Bailey.
His wife is Hannah (possibly Hannah Matthews who married a Thomas Edwards at English Bicknor 16/8/1813 both with parents consent).He has children Eliza 20, Hannah 13, Samuel 9 (could be named after grandfather), Lydia 5 and Sophia 1.
I have managed to find likely births in the transcripts for Hannah, Samuel and Lydia who may have married William Gurney 6/6/1858.
I am hoping this might be my Thomas. Can anyone check for them in later censuses?
