My Great Uncle lived in a cottage on the road between the entarnce to Clearwell caves and the Chapel between 1946 and 1964, the cottage is now demolished.

Interpreting the Enumerators route on the 1891 census could this cottage be classed as Top of The Rocks?

Hi Tony

The Rocks Clearwell - is on a Narrow Road which starts Opposite The Miners Arms, Sling and runs down the side of Clearwell Meend, it joins the Road from Lambsquay Hotel to Clearwell between Clearwell Caves and the Cemetary. There are quite a few Houses near the Clearwell End.

On the 1891 Census my family are living at Top of the Rocks Lambsquay

Interpreting the Enumerators route I guess the location is somewhere between Lambsquay House owned by the Payne family, and the village of Clearwell.

Can someone pinpoint the location for me?
