Hi Hugh,

Many thanks for your reply regarding Harry Mercer. My grandfather Alfred Reuben WINTER was the brother of Mary Winter who married Harry Mercer. I may be able to find out a little info about Harry Mercer & his employment at Buckingham Palace from elderly family relatives if you so wished & I would be happy to forward the photo I have in my possession to its rightful owners.

Hello.

My mother in law is currently tracing her family tree. her mother was Violet Mercer and her grandmother was Lillian Mercer. Lillian was the sister of Harry Mercer who is in the photo you alluded to.

I wonder - do you still have the photo plse (or indeed any other information in relation to this family?).

Looking for descendants of Mary WINTER & Harry MERCER (formerly Ledbury) daughter PEGGY married Roland GIBSON 1935 (West Ham) I have a rather lovely photograph of Harry Mercer (I believe taken in Buckingham Palace) which I would like to reunite with the family.
