Possibly William Powell - Lydney (reply)

Sent to us by Mavis Haddock

Possibly William Powell
http://www.forest-of-dean.net/gallery/lydney/

I noticed that Deb Coe posted a picture of William Powell baptized in Lydney in 1815.
I have some old Aylburton and Lydney photos several of which I have no idea of who they are.
The one that Deb Coe posted resembles one of my "unknowns" that I have.

George and Anne Rickards
http://www.forest-of-dean.net/gallery/cinderford_2/

George Barnard Rickards (1873-1933), his son whose name I have yet to find. His
daughter Stella May aged approx 4 and his wife Anne Elizabeth Hunt (1871-1919).

The photo was taken outside his house in Cinderford, possibly it is at
9 Commercial Road.

Taken c1909, as Stella was born 1905 and she looks about 4yrs old in the picture.

George B Rickards is the son of Elijah Barnard Rickards and Martha Fletcher and
my Great Grandmother Annie Rickard's, brother.
