<title>Will of Richard Harris of Woolaston,  d. 1784 (reply)</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Part two<br />
(new page) and James Hammond Upon their further Special Trust<br />
and Confidence that they the said William Harris and <br />
James Hammond and the survivor of them and the<br />
Executors Administrators and assigns of such Survivor do<br />
and shall pay and apply the sum of Eight Hundred Pounds<br />
part of any said Personal Estate to such Person  and<br />
Persons and for such uses and in such manner of use<br />
as my  said Wife shall by her last Will and Testament or <br />
other instrument in writing duly enacted Give dispose<br />
of and direct the same And to pay and apply<br />
all the rest Residue and Remainder of any said___<br />
Personal Estate in the such Case to any said nephew the<br />
said Richard Harris for his own sole use and Benefit<br />
forever  Also I do hereby direct my said Wife Mary to give<br />
and distribute unto the Poor of the Parish of Wollastone<br />
the sum of Five Pounds in bread in the following manner<br />
One pound each Sunday for the five Sundays next after my<br />
Decease at the Church door of the Parish of Wollastone to such<br />
of the Poor of the said Parish as she and the said William<br />
Harris and James Hammond shall think proper who<br />
have each of the said Sundays attended Divine Service<br />
in the said Church and to thereby change my said Personal <br />
Estate with the Payment thereof and with the Payment of<br />
all my Just debts and funeral Expenses And hereby revoking<br />
all former wills by me heretofore made do declare this to<br />
be me last Will and Testament and of this my Will do hereby<br />
nominate and appoint my said wife Mary the said William<br />
Harris and James Hammond Sole Executors In Witness<br />
Whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Twenty<br />
Third day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand<br />

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the name of God Amen I Richard Harris of the Possession <br />
House in Parish of Wollestone in the County of Glocester_____ <br />
Gentleman being sick and weak in Body but of sound Mind___<br />
Memory and understanding o make Publish and declare this<br />
My last will and Testament in manner following That is to say<br />
All my freehold Messuage Tenement and dwelling House wherein<br />
I now dwell called by the Name of the Posession House with the__<br />
Garden Orchard Lands and Premises thereunto belonging And<br />
all other my freehold Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments<br />
and Premises at Brookend All which said Messuages there<br />
and Premises called the Possession House and those at Brookend<br />
are Situate lying and being in the Parish of Wollestone in<br />
the County of Gloucester together also with all other my freehold<br />
Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Premises<br />
Situate lying and being in the said Parish of Wollastone<br />
And Elsewhere in the Kingdom of Great Britain whereof or<br />
Wherein I now am or shall at the Time of my Decease be<br />
possessed of an entitled unto in Possession Reversion_____<br />
Remainder or Expectancy I Give and Devise unto my<br />
Brother William Harris of Brookend aforesaid______<br />
Sailmaker and James Hammond of Wollastone in the said<br />
County of Glocester Farmer To hold to them their heirs and<br />
Assigns In Trust nevertheless To the use and behoof of<br />
my Wife Mary for and during the Term of her Natural Life<br />
and from and after her Decease To the Use and behoof<br />
of my daughter Mary Sadler Harris and the issue of her__<br />
Boy lawfully begotten And forward and in default of<br />
Such issue To the Use and behoof of my nephew Richard<br />
Harris Son of Walter Harris of Walford in the County of __<br />
Hereford Gentleman his Heirs and assigns forever And<br />
it is my Will That my said nephew Richard Harris being<br />
(new page) in possession of my said Estate do and shall pay unto all<br />
and every the Daughters of the said Walter Harris his<br />
the said Richard Harris’s sisters  then living The sum of One Hundred<br />
Pounds apiece at their respective ages of Twenty One<br />
years and o hereby charge and make Chargeable<br />
my said Estate with the payment thereof by ye said Richard<br />
Harris All and Singular my Household furniture<br />
And Household Effects I give and bequeath to my said<br />
Wife Mary to use and Enjoy the same without<br />
The control and Management of any Person or Persons<br />
Whatsoever for her life And from and after her Decease<br />
I give the same to the said William Harris<br />
And James Hammond In Trust for the Purpose<br />
Herein after mentioned All and Singular my___<br />
Leasehold Estate ready Money Securities for Money<br />
good Chattels and Effects other than my Household__<br />
Furniture as aforesaid and such Household____<br />
Furniture after the decease of my said wife I give and<br />
bequeath unto the said William Harris and James<br />
Hammond upon this Special Trust and Confidence<br />
That the Said William Harris and James Hammond<br />
and the survivor of them and the Executors Administrator<br />
and Assigns of such Survivor do and shall permit and <br />
suffer my said wife Mary to have receive take and <br />
Enjoy the Interest Rent Produce and Profits thereof<br />
for and during the Natural Life of her my said Wife<br />
and to take upon her the Management thereof for her<br />
Life and from and after her decease upon this<br />
 Further Trust and Confidence to permit and suffer my<br />
Daughter Mary Sadler Harris to have use and Enjoy any<br />
said Household Furniture until she shall arrive to her age <br />
of twenty four years and as to all the rest and Remainder<br />
of my Personal Estate and Effects after the decease of my said<br />
Wife to receive and take the Rent Interest Produce and<br />
Profits thereof and to pay and apply the same to and for<br />
the Benefit of my said Daughter Mary Sadler<br />
Harris until she shall arrive to the age of Twenty four<br />
years with a Power for my said Trustees the said <br />
William Harris and James Hammond to call in the Monies__<br />
Part of my said Personal Estate and [unclear] the same<br />
at Interest at their discretion an wholly to manage the <br />
same with the Rents an Profits of any said Real Estates<br />
after the decease of my said Wife for the [unclear} Benefit <br />
of my said daughter till her age of Twenty four years<br />
when I do hereby give and bequeath the same [unclear]<br />
every Paid and Parcell thereof to her for her own sole <br />
use and Benefit an at her disposal And it is my Will that<br />
my said Wife Mary in case she shall love so long shall <br />
support maintain and educate my said Daughter till<br />
her age of Twenty four years and at her age of Twenty <br />
four years in case my said Wife shall be living I do<br />
hereby give her my said Daughter Mary Sadler <br />
Harris the Sum of Five Hundred Pounds for her own sole<br />
use and Benefit an do hereby desire my said Wife to<br />
pay her the same out of any said Personal Estate<br />
But in case my said Daughter Mary Sadler Harris shall<br />
depart this life before her age of Twenty four years<br />
Thereafter the decease of my said Wife Mary I do hereby<br />
Give and Bequeath the whole of my said ______<br />
Personal Estate to the said William Harris and <br />
