Fatal Road Accident
Colliery Official's death at Cinderford March 30 1926
Mr Edwin JONES, age 63, of Ruspidge a well-know member of the colliery staff of Lightmoor, Messrs. Crawshay's large Cinderford coal mine, was fatally injured by being knocked down at about nine o'clock on Monday evening by a cyclist of 16 years named Hartley COOPER of Factory Row, Cinderford, who was proceeding to work at Eastern United Colliery -- etc etc... Deceased leaves a son of about 20, who emigrated a few months ago, and four daughters, three of whom are married.
