Percy Grindle (1905-80) was my great uncle by marriage. He married my grandmother's younger sister Eva Irene Morse (1906-82) in 1927.

Percy Grindle and his brother Roy started one of the first transport businesses in the Forest during the 1920s.

Their success evolved into 2 distinctly separate business enterprises, covering coach travel, furniture removals, wedding and funeral cars.
