I am researching 5 children from the same family, residence Whitecliff, orphaned in January 1824 - ages from under one to approx 8 years.
I am wondering, if they had all been sent to the Poor House/Workhouse would this have been most likely at Newland, and would there be a register of entry and exit? Can anyone advise where I can find this information?
