Ewart [Tommy] Wood was our blacksmith for many years and became an 'adopted' member of our family. He and Mrs Wood and their dog Chum spent a lot of time with us after Tommy retired. All our family occasions e.g weddings, christenings etc. always included Granny and Grampy Wood, as our children called them. I have photos of most of these 'get togethers'.
