I am increasingly convinced that the allegation that the soldiers were executed is baseless - although the person who made it was something of a celebrity in Czechoslovakia. I am also convinced now that William James was, in fact, James Williams. One such person died in Saunders Green, Whitecroft in 1990. Saunders Green Is a stone's throw from Bream.
