The Pleck in Varnister in parish of Ruardean - Bradley (General)
My ancestor, Richard Bradley (1726-1793) left a will in which he describes his land as: "my piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being at Vonestow in the Parish of Ruardean in the County of Gloucester Called or known by the name of The Pleck". I understand that "pleck" is a Hereford word meaning the plot. I've never been able to find another reference to The Pleck in Varnister. I live in Canada and I'm now writing up this Bradley family's story and was hoping that I could describe it a bit better than it being a plot.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Donna
