Both are interesting and I will certainly take a look. I have not done much with the tree for quite a while. I think it will always be difficult to be sure about these things as when you go so far back there is not a trade or anything that would confirm that you are on the right track.
I seem to remember that there was a John Townsend who died in Longhope as well and I know our John was buried in Brockhampton.
